Female / Male Mortality and Morbidity Table
Due to the third chapter of Act Nr. CXXXVII of 2007, relating to the amendment about the financial services on behalf of approximation of laws, we must present the statistical data that supports the reason as to why our company has the right to differentiate between prices for men and women.
At each age, the columns of the table also contain the female mortality percentage out of the male mortality percentage.
Mortality: death-probability proportion, which shows how many people die out of a population of 100,000 in a given year.

* In the case of AEGON Vital, we differentiate four risk communities, depending on the insured health and smoking habits. At certain ages, each female and male death-probability of the risk-groups is different, so the differences are presented in range.
The table is based on the Hungarian mortality table from 1989 and the statistics of AEGON Hungary.
