The property branch of business of AEGON Hungary General Corp. offers a technical insurance product for the coverage of damages caused by these special risks. The technical insurance protection can be taken out to cover damages originating from a broken machine or a machine accident resulting in partial or full malfunction. In the frame of the technical insurance for business income and interruption the insurance company will reimburse the insured for extra costs, in consequence of an interruption caused by a broken machine or a machine accident that is included in the machinery breakdown insurance rider that occurs during business operation hours of the policy holder. Business interruption insurance covers expenses and lost income during this time of non activity due to machinery breakdown. Insurance of electrical appliances and equipment (computers, notebooks, other IT devices and equipment) are protected against damages to devices, which unexpectedly and suddenly incur external violence due to a mechanic effect, a defined natural disaster, or a burglary.
